Arvind Sah’s mission of empowering rural farmers with digital technology
As Arvind Sah belongs to rural village of Bara, apart from working on innovative technologies mainly useful for urban area, he is equally concerned towards empowering rural farmers with technology linkage.
In his every visit to hometown in the past, he used to feel worried to see the villagers going through the same difficulties in farming. He understood agriculture is the only sector where rural people have easy access and it has also great business opportunity. This made him to start community farming and introduce green agriculture technology in the village.
Now, Sah is more concerned towards making the rural farmers able to use a digital wallet to solve their problems. He is in a mission of empowering farmers making them self-reliant through agro-tech, and adoption of Khalti’s digital payment technology.
